Look beyond today's appointment book.
Ortho Radar helps orthodontic practice owners see changes that could affect their business before those changes become obvious in their own numbers.
Three ways to look ahead
The demand forecast gives our view of new patients and treatment starts over the next 6 to 12 months. The biweekly newsletter looks more broadly at technology, consumers, the economy, marketing, practice economics and regulation. The Local Growth Kit applies public data to a single practice's market.
Signals, not certainty
We separate what happened from what it could mean. A new technology may create an opportunity without being ready for every practice. A change outside orthodontics can be relevant without proving an orthodontic trend.
Every claim has a source
Every story links to its sources. We say who collected the data and which practices it covers, because a financing platform's customers, a consultant's clients and a national random sample are different slices of the profession.
The forecast is a judgment, not a promise
National and vendor benchmarks cannot predict the results of an individual practice. We change the forecast when the evidence warrants it, not simply because a new issue is due, and we keep earlier editions available.
Built for decisions
Our question is always: could this change what an owner should monitor, investigate or do? We do not turn an early research result into a clinical recommendation or a single state's rule into a nationwide obligation.
Who we are
